Real Spiral Mixing, From Countertop to Factory

Sunmix builds one thing, and builds it seriously: spiral dough mixers.

Designed and manufactured in Italy, Sunmix machines knead dough the way artisan bakers demand: a rotating bowl and spiral tool that develop gluten progressively. The countertop EASY and EVO lines handle doughs from 60% hydration, and the commercial Classic and Queen lines are rated up to 100% hydration. The range runs from the 13 lb countertop EASY6 all the way to the 661 lb QUEEN machines, plus dough rounders and dividers.

With the opening of Sunmix USA in Miami, Florida, these machines now ship from US stock with no overseas wait, US-configured electrics and local parts support. CulinaryProfis is an authorized Sunmix dealer and one of the first US shops to carry the full range.

STRAIGHT FROM ITALY

The Sunmix Story

Why Choose Sunmix?

  • True variable speed: inverter drive from 50 to 300 RPM on the countertop and commercial lines alike, with only the Classic line running fixed speed
  • High-hydration ready: 60% and up on the countertop EASY/EVO lines, up to 100% hydration on the Classic and Queen commercial mixers
  • Reverse rotation: mixes ingredients cleanly for biga, poolish and pre-doughs without developing the gluten mesh
  • Made in Italy: stainless steel components and a sturdy structure, designed and built by Sunmix Srl
  • US stock and support: ships from Miami with a 1-year warranty and US parts supply
  • Three signature colors: Ruby Red, Deep Black, Pure White

Common Questions About Sunmix

How established is Sunmix, and why has it become popular with professional bakers?

Sunmix Srl is an Italian manufacturer that specializes exclusively in spiral dough mixers and dough processing machines, selling in more than 80 countries worldwide. Its stainless steel components, sturdy structure and focus on doing one thing, spiral mixing, extremely well is why pizzerias and artisan bakeries around the globe have come to rely on it. Since 2026 the brand has its own US branch, Sunmix USA in Miami, with local stock, US electrics and warranty parts.

Where are Sunmix mixers made?

All Sunmix machines are designed and manufactured in Italy. US-stocked units are configured for American voltages and ship from the Miami, Florida warehouse.

What size Sunmix mixer do I need?

As a rule of thumb: the EASY6 or EASY10 (13 to 22 lbs of dough) suit a home baker or occasional trial batches, and the EASY15/20 or EVO15/20 (33 to 44 lbs) are better for lab and small-scale use than for daily production. A busy pizzeria typically needs at least 132 lbs of dough capacity, our Top Line or SMART machines (84 to 132 lbs) cover that range well, and higher-volume shops often step up to 176 to 264 lbs on the CLASSIC or QUEEN lines, with production runs going up to 661 lbs. Not sure? Contact us, sizing mixers is what we do.

What is the difference between the EASY and EVO lines?

Both share the same Italian-built mechanics: stainless steel bowl, spiral and shaft, with a 1:9 bowl-to-spiral ratio for uniform mixing. The EASY uses simple dial controls, while the EVO adds a touchscreen with 20-recipe memory, an infrared dough temperature sensor and LED bowl lighting, ideal when you want the exact same dough every day.

What power supply do Sunmix machines need?

It varies by line, and it is worth settling before you order. The EASY and EVO 6, 10 and 15 run on an ordinary 110V socket. The EASY20, EVO20, Top Line and SMART machines need 220V single-phase, the same supply an electric dryer uses. The Classic and QUEEN lines are three-phase. Our guide on 110V, 220V or three-phase explains how to check what your kitchen has.

Does Sunmix ship in the USA? How fast?

Yes, in-stock machines ship from Miami, FL. After checkout we contact you to arrange the best freight option for your address: countertop machines travel fast, floor machines ship on a pallet.

What warranty do Sunmix machines have?

Every machine carries a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, with parts supplied from the Sunmix USA warehouse in Miami and technical support from our team.
