The MRCOOL® 5th Generation DIY® Mini-Split Air Handler Series offers a powerful, energy-efficient, and truly DIY-friendly solution for room-by-room climate control—no HVAC technician, vacuum pump, or specialized tools required.
With models ranging from 6,000 to 36,000 BTUs, this series can effectively heat and cool individual spaces from 150 up to 1,500 sq. ft., making it a perfect fit for anything from small offices to large open living areas. Each air handler connects via a 25-foot DIY® QuickConnect® line set (sold separately) pre-charged with R-454B refrigerant, an eco-friendly and efficient upgrade from previous refrigerants. This innovation streamlines the installation process by eliminating the need for system evacuation, dramatically reducing setup time and cost.
The included DIYPRO® cable replaces standard electrical conduit, enhancing protection against weather, animals, and outdoor wear and tear, while simplifying electrical setup.
