Then, add additional MRCOOL® mini split air handlers (wall or ceiling) to the same outdoor condenser. For sizing, add up the BTUs of each indoor unit (this ducted air handler plus any additional air handlers) to choose the right condenser capacity just like a multi-zone mini split.
- Choose 24k (~1,000 sq. ft.) or 36k (~1,550 sq. ft.) for the ducted zone you want to condition.
